You know those pictures of what
actual food portions should look like?
Do you see those diagrams and think...
"That's waaayyy too small"
and/or
"I'll starve if I eat JUST that."
How did the amount of food we consume get so out of control? We have strong feelings about that, & we chat about this on our social media pages.
Our strongest desire though,
(in addition to bringing awareness of
what appropriate portion sizes are...)
is to teach strategies on
HOW we shift away from
overstretched tummies
& colossal meals -
back to a more balanced &
proper portion choice.
We do NOT need to eat smaller than normal portions of food.
(YAY! Read that again!)
What needs to change is
eating abnormally
large meals & snacks
(meant for 3-4 people)
to normal, appropriate portions.
It's how our bodies are designed to eat.
It's an excellent example & an invaluable lesson for our families.
And if you are trying to

this is often a major culprit of why the scale doesn't move.
So how do we make this change?
Awareness, commitment,
support & consistency.
